Suvo Sarkar
Suvo Sarkar is an international banker with a vintage of 37 years in consumer banking, payments and wealth management. His last role was to oversee the global retail banking and private banking businesses at Emirates NBD, the most profitable bank in the Middle East. He is also the founder of the region's first digital bank Liv. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Retail Banker International Lifetime Achievement Award.
Suvo currently runs his own advisory business that focuses on data, digitization and design of financial services. His clients include McKinsey & Co, Mastercard and IBM. He is based in Dubai and hosts a popular fortnightly podcast called Money Majlis on banking, technology and marketing.
